Day 1 : Daresalaam to selous game reserve
You will meet and greet your guide at your Hotel and will drive to Selous game reserve for 7 hours.
Day 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE SELOUS GAME RESERVE (NYERERE NATIONAL PARK)
You will have a full day in the Selous Game Reserve exploration of the Reserve by 4-wheel drive vehicle; which will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest in Africa, covering 54,600 square kilometers. Selous is famous for its elephants, commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus.
Day 3 : Selous Game reserve – Mikumi national park
After breakfast, our driver guide will get you from your camp and transport you to Mikumi National Park. Today, we depart from the magnificent Selous Game Reserve for Mikumi National Park. Normally, two hours are spent within the park and seven hours are spent outdoors in Morogoro. During our journey to Mikumi, you will be able to appreciate the sheer size of Tanzania’s territory; the raw beauty of the landscapes will reveal themselves, and your driver-guide will assist you in spotting any animals and birds along the way and answering any questions you may have about what you see. Meal: Within the national park Drive to your camp in the early evening for a relaxing evening and a hot dinner.
Day 4 : Full Day in Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your camp and transport you to Mikumi for a morning game drive. Activity: After breakfast, depart for a lengthy game drive with a packed lunch. Lions, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and elephant are common sightings. Packs of wild dogs can be observed here. The vast horizons and plentiful wildlife of Mikumi’s popular centerpiece, the Mkata Floodplain, are frequently compared to the more famous Serengeti Plains. Meal: Your driver guide will provide a picnic lunch box at the picnic venue. Afternoon travel to National Park campground for evening at leisure and hot meal. Dinner and sleeping arrangements will be made at the campsite.
Day 5 : Mikumi national park-Dar es salaam/Zanzibar
After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your camp or accommodation and bring you to Dar es Salaam. Transport from Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a morning safari with our driver guide, and see the beautiful Tanzania landscape, mountains, villages, and small towns.
