2 Day safari Itinerary

Day 1

Zanzibar To Tarangire National Park

Our guide will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. This journey is approximately 151km, and you will enjoy a packed lunch box in the park.

Named after the Tarangire River, the Tarangire National Park is the only water source for the region’s wildlife during the dry season. The park has diverse vegetation, unlike others in the northern safari circuit. Tarangire National Park is home to a large concentration of wildlife, including large mammals and hundreds of bird species. Established in 1970, the park’s attractions include diverse wildlife and vegetation, birds, tree-climbing African pythons, and baobab trees. Apart from game viewing, Tarangire is a perfect destination for a Tanzania birdwatching safari. Our guests can also embark on nature walks and engage with locals to experience their culture.

Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart from your Hotel at around 6:30 a.m. and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but also one of Africa’s new 7 Natural Wonders. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a wide variety of animals in the Ngorongoro crater, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site.
